forgiven is folded linen in a tomb,

the silent promise of return.

love is blood stained carpentry,

a mother's cry, and a thief redeemed.

nail-torn hands are now living proof,

and human hearts now upper rooms.

a spear-pierced side became the portrait of kindness,

so that we too, may join Him in paradise.
